Travelling art exhibition to shape a more inclusive future

St John of God Accord has partnered with Nillumbik Shire Council and Araluen to participate in a six-month Better Together travelling art exhibition across the Shire.

The name Better Together stems from a 2D piece of artwork our resident artists collaborated together on and was commissioned by Council for International Day for People with Disability.

The exhibition opened at Diamond Valley Library on Thursday, 19 July 2018 with clients their families along with Councillor Jane Ashton, council members, Tony Hollamby CEO, Peter Newsome, Director of Customer Relations and Marketing, Kristel Bonetti, Manager, Greensborough Community Campus along with staff and community in attendance.

The travelling art show is part of Council’s new four-year Disability Action Plan to promote inclusion in the community.

The exhibition will feature at the Diamond Valley Library and moves to Hurstbridge Hub, August 6th.

The exhibition proudly is supported by Bendigo Bank.
