Accord’s executive team is led by CEO, Tony Hollamby. Profiles of our leadership team are outlined below.

Tony Hollamby, CEO 

Tony became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of St John of God Accord in January 2010 and has more than 30 years’ experience in public and private health care. As CEO, he was instrumental in effectively leading Accord through one of Australia’s biggest social reforms, the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Tony also oversaw the transition of services from Marillac Ltd to St John of God Accord in 2017.

Tony led the transformation of St John of God Accord’s Greensborough Community Campus, overseeing a comprehensive redevelopment that has delivered an outstanding environment for our clients.

He sees the development of relationships with clients, their families and the broader community as key to successfully providing support. Making a difference in lives of the people we support is part of the Vision, Mission and Values of St John of God Accord.

Tony has completed a Bachelor of Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma Statistics, Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture from ACU, and is a Registered General Nurse, holding an Intensive Care Certificate along with a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Tony has 14 years’ CEO experience; previously being responsible for the redevelopment of St John of God Berwick Hospital completed in 2007.

Silvana Gugliandolo, Director of Service Delivery

Silvana has been Director of Service Delivery at St John of God Accord since March 2012, and has more than 25 years’ experience in the disability sector. Silvana played a pivotal role as acting Chief Executive Officer in the initial transitioning of Marillac Ltd Services to St John of God Accord in 2017 - a major achievement, implementing cultural alignment. Silvana also significantly contributed to the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Silvana has worked at St John of God Accord since 1992 and has expertise in service delivery including accommodation, individualist support, day services, employment services, training and development. She established the Specialist Services team, including positive behaviour support.
Silvana previously worked for DHHS and was involved in the de-institutionalisation of many people into group homes in the community.

Silvana has a Degree in Psychology, Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture from ACU, Certificate of Intellectual Disability Nursing and a Cert IV in Training and Development.

 Neal Murphy, Group Manager Social Justice Advocacy 

Neal’s current substantive role is Group Manager Social Justice Advocacy where he is responsible for coordinating a number of port folios including St John of God Health Care’s Disability Plan, the Reconciliation Action Plan along with community responsibility initiatives. 

Prior to this Neal worked at Accord for 10 years in Leadership roles which included Management of Day Services and Accord’s Director of Mission up until 2014.  Neal has now returned to Accord whilst a review of Accord’s Director of Mission Integration role occurs and the subsequent recruitment process.  Neal holds undergraduate studies in Systematic Theology, a Masters in Social Sciences majoring in Pastoral Counselling, a Masters in Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Peter Newsome, Business Development, Innovation and Marketing Manager

Peter Newsome was appointed to the role of Manager, Business Development, Innovation and Marketing in June of 2017. Peter’s role as Business Development Manager contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) rollout at St John of Accord.

Peter currently works with the Chief Executive Officer within the divisional management committee supporting projects to ensure we are well positioned and ready to meet the needs of our clients and their families.

Highly respected and well regarded within the disability sector, Peter has held a number of managerial positions within St John of God Accord over the last 13 years, including Program Manager of Community Services based in the Western Region and Manager of Individualised Support for the Eastern Region.

Peter is currently undertaking study to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Swinburne University.

Leslie Quill, Executive Assistant

Leslie is a highly competent Executive Assistant supporting Tony Hollamby CEO, and the Divisional Management Committee (DMC) at Accord. Leslie supports an experienced and professional executive team in a fast-paced environment, with dedication and accuracy, exercising intuitive judgements whilst managing her administrative portfolio.

Joining St John of God Accord in May 2007, after working in the public and private sectors for 35 years, she has supported a diverse group of executive and management teams. Leslie has excellent organisational skills, people management and administrative knowledge along with information systems expertise.

Regional managers

Margaret Gibson, Regional Manager - North West

Margaret was appointed to the role of Regional Manager in August 2017. In this role, Margaret oversees all areas business for St John of God Accord in the Northern and Western metropolitan regions of Melbourne, including managing and implemented services, working with clients and their families, partnering with other organisations and government agencies, and developing and maintaining policies and procedures

Margaret has worked for St John of God Accord for the past 15 years. Previously, Margaret worked for the Department of Human Services for 20 years and her formal qualifications include MRN 1985 and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management 2006.

Her extensive experience of the disability sector has brought a wealth of knowledge to St John of God Accord and guided how we moved forward as an organisation within the NDIS.

Nicholas Pouki, Regional Manager - South Eastern Region

Nicholas Pouki was appointed to the role of Regional Manager in July of 2017. His role as Regional Manager oversees all disability support services for St John of God Accord in the South and Eastern Regions of Melbourne, and he reports directly to Silvana Gugliandolo, Director of Service Delivery.

Nick started in the service in 2011 initially working as a Community Support Worker with Individualised Services. Nick held a number of management positions at St John of God Accord including Individualised Support both the Northern and Eastern Regions of Melbourne and the Respite service in the North.

He was actively involved in Accord successfully transitioning to the NDIS and the transition of Marillac Services.

Nicholas Has a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement and a Masters of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation.
